The Ethiopian Medical Laboratory Association (EMLA) is one of the oldest nationwide professional associations in Ethiopia, officially registered with the Ministry of Justice in 1964, and re-registered by the Ethiopian Government Law of Charities and Society Proclamation No. 621.2009 to contribute to the improvement of national health programs in general and in the fields of laboratory medicine in particular.

EMLA has a plan to conduct Method Validation and Verification CPD course with 15 Continuing Educational Units (CEU) for Medical Laboratory professionals in the following cities:

  1. Jimma and surrounding regions from January 26-28, 2024, at Jimma University in collaboration with the School of Medical Laboratory Sciences.
  2. Addis Ababa from February 2-4, 2024, at the EMLA CPD Center, in front of the Addis Ketema Sub City Administration office.

We are kindly inviting all Medical Laboratory Professionals to register at the EMLA Head Office or from their respective representative offices.
